Western Path Healing Center was created out of a desire to serve Montana's medical cannabis (marijuana) patients.  Founded by medical professionals experienced in cannabis therapeutics, Doctor Laura and Nurse Karen look forward to guiding you on your medical cannabis journey!

Due to legislative changes May 2023, providers across the state can now certify only 38 patients per calendar year before being subjected to a medical board investigation and associated cost. This is a truly disappointing change, pushing physicians and patients out of the medical program toward the highly taxed recreational program. We will continue to provide care to patients, within the new restrictions, but please accept our apologies in advance if we are capped out toward the end of the year.

"The department shall provide the board of medical examiners with the name of any physician who provides a written certification for 39 or more patients within any given calendar year. The board of medical examiners shall review the physician's practices in order to determine whether the practices meet the standard of care. The physician whose practices are under review shall pay the costs of the board's review activities."

Wait, isn't marijuana legal now?
